"If a woman doesn’t look like a goddess during labor,
then someone isn’t treating her right.”
-Ina May Gaskin
What is a doula?
A doula is a labor assistant, a sisterhood, a birth educator, a helpful hand for Mama Bear and Papa Bear on their magical journey, a voice for a woman during her most open and vulnerable life experience, and a confidant to consult when feeling lost or confused during and after pregnancy.
She is support when you need it most.
I am honored to now be a part of an amazing doula team based on Long Island. Our team is Birthside Doulas, feel free to look through our offerings at www.birthsidedoulas.com and reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or bookings.
Don't forget to sign-up for the next upcoming Living Wild Instinctive Birth Workshop to help you and your partner feel empowered by knowledge about nature-based pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, and newborn care.
“A baby is like the beginning of all things: wonder, hope a dream of possibilities. In a world that is cutting down its trees to build highways, losing its earth to concrete, babies are almost the only remaining link in nature, with the natural world of living things from which we spring.” – Eda J. Leshan
