BIRTH JOURNEY

"If a woman doesn’t look like a goddess during labor,
then someone isn’t treating her right.”

-Ina May Gaskin

What is a doula?
A doula is a labor assistant, a sisterhood, a birth educator, a helpful hand for Mama Bear and Papa Bear on their magical journey, a voice for a woman during her most open and vulnerable life experience, and a confidant to consult when feeling lost or confused during and after pregnancy.
She is support when you need it most.

“A baby is like the beginning of all things: wonder, hope a dream of possibilities. In a world that is cutting down its trees to build highways, losing its earth to concrete, babies are almost the only remaining link in nature, with the natural world of living things from which we spring.” – Eda J. Leshan
